Thalia had
managed to stay alive for four years before ( almost ) reaching
camp. Even without having a training from Chiron she knew how to fight. The
choice had never been hers after all, as her dear uncle Hades had always sent
his worse monsters after her ( as if the monsters who naturally wanted to make
demigods their dinner wasn’t enough!). &
Now, almost seven years later she was finally at camp, ready to face new
challenges. Among them this climbing wall where lava could pour at any time. It
sounded awesome. But of course, she had known far worse during her time on the run. ❝ I must admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but
this lava wall? I love it. ❞ she commented before looking up at
the demigoddess standing next to her.
Katie had been eyeing the lava wall for days. She had been trying to figure out the intervals at which the lava poured out, and had come up with nothing, despite figuring that even a seemingly randomized algorithm would have to have a system to it. ❝i still haven’t tried it out. thought about it, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.❞ she eyed the other girl for a moment, before giving her a smile. ❝you up for a challenge?❞
